Why the HAVAL H7 has become one of the most interesting new products of the year: what Hi4 technology changes for the driver

The key difference with Hi4 is that the system constantly analyzes the road conditions and automatically selects the most efficient operating mode. Depending on the speed, surface, and load, the vehicle can operate on electric power, use the gasoline engine, or combine both powertrains. For the driver, this all happens virtually seamlessly. There's no need to select modes or monitor which system is operating at any given moment—the electronics handle it automatically, helping to simultaneously reduce fuel consumption and maintain driving comfort.
Why the car drives more confidently
One of the key engineering solutions of the Hi4 is the placement of the main electric motor on the rear axle. This distributes the load more evenly between the axles, making the car more stable. In practice, this is quite noticeable: the crossover corners more confidently, responds more calmly to abrupt maneuvers, and maintains stability even at high speeds. The difference is especially noticeable on wet roads or surfaces with low traction.
Dynamics without unnecessary noise
The hybrid powertrain uses two electric motors, which help transfer torque to the wheels almost instantly. This makes the car more responsive to the accelerator pedal, makes overtaking easier, and launches more confidently even on slippery surfaces.
Another advantage of the hybrid architecture is acoustic comfort. In many everyday situations, the car runs predominantly on electric power, and additional sound insulation helps make the cabin noticeably quieter both in the city and on long trips.
A self-aware all-wheel drive system
Hi4 is not just a hybrid system, but a next-generation intelligent all-wheel drive system. Electronics continuously monitor traction and automatically redistribute torque between the front and rear axles. If the road surface becomes slippery or one wheel begins to slip, the system instantly applies the necessary traction, helping the vehicle navigate difficult terrain, unpaved roads, snow, or wet asphalt with greater confidence.
The first HAVAL with Hi4 in Uzbekistan
The HAVAL H7 is the brand's first model in Uzbekistan to feature GWM Hi4 Plug-in Hybrid technology. The hybrid powertrain combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, two electric motors, and a 4DHT transmission. The all-electric range is up to 105 kilometers, and even with a low battery charge, fuel consumption is 6.3 liters per 100 kilometers.
The gasoline version of the HAVAL H7 starts at 399,900,000 soums, while the hybrid version starts at 449,900,000 soums.
The vehicle comes with a 5-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty (whichever comes first).
