All-New Kia Seltos Makes Its Debut in Uzbekistan

200 hp, all-wheel drive and a completely new design: the second generation of the Kia Seltos urban crossover has been unveiled in Tashkent.

The new Seltos embodies bold innovation and a constant pursuit of excellence. A version equipped with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 200 hp and an all-wheel-drive system is available for the Uzbekistan market. Its bold, traditional SUV styling is combined with a refined interior. Equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display and a wide 27-inch panoramic multimedia display with an intuitive interface.

This is the second generation of Kia’s compact crossover in one of the brand’s strategically important SUV segments. Its exterior takes more design cues from Kia’s larger SUVs: a wide radiator grille, signature Star Map lighting and sharply defined body lines create a confident, high-tech appearance. Concealed door handles give the silhouette a cleaner look, while a spoiler and contrasting pillar details emphasise the floating-roof effect. Rear lights combining horizontal and vertical lines make the vehicle appear wider.

Comfort is also evident on the move: improved sound insulation makes journeys quieter, while increased body rigidity and refined suspension settings provide a smoother ride. The wheelbase has been extended to 2,690 mm, creating a more spacious cabin.

The vehicle offers more stable and predictable handling both on city streets and beyond. A more rigid body structure and an ergonomically designed airbag system help protect the driver and passengers in the event of a collision. A comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) provides greater confidence behind the wheel.

The new Kia Seltos comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of five years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first, subject to compliance with the warranty terms and servicing requirements.
