ADM Global: A New Vector for Development of Uzbekistan's Automotive Industry

"Engines of the Future": Focus on Hybrids and the Next-Generation Industry

ADM Global Group of Companies, the official distributor of the Kia, Chery, Haval, and Hyundai Truck & Bus is preparing to sign an investment agreement with the government of Uzbekistan – a document that will mark the beginning of a large-scale transition to hybrid vehicle production using knock-down (CKD) technology.

A key element of the company's strategy will be a universal platform, allowing the production of the same model in both conventional and hybrid versions.

ADM Global: Scale and Structure

Today, the group comprises 35 companies with over 4,500 employees.

In particular, the ADM Global group of companies includes ADM Jizzakh, the first private multi-brand automobile plant in Uzbekistan. The company has modern CKD and SKD production facilities.

Additionally, ADM Global is developing an extensive dealer network (currently 85 centers) and regional offices throughout the country.

By the end of 2025, the company forecasts a turnover of $1.024 billion, while consistently holding second place in the country's automotive market.

Strategic Focus: Hybrids, Technology, and People

ADM Global is focusing on developing knock-down (CKD) production at the ADM Jizzakh plant, modernizing its facilities, and actively developing its talent pool.

By 2030, the company plans to increase its workforce to 10,000, increase localization to 50%, and establish an in-house R&D center to develop and adapt modern technologies.

The hybrid approach has already become an important part of ADM Global's strategy. In 2025, production of Chery's first hybrid vehicle in Uzbekistan, the Arrizo 8 Hybrid, will begin, followed by a phased rollout of other NEV models.

The investment volume is estimated at $190 million, and the projected capacity is up to 50,000 new energy vehicles per year by 2027.

Daniyar Davletiyarov, CEO of ADM Global:

"We are finalizing an investment agreement with the government to develop the production of hybrid and electric vehicles. ADM Global is making clear commitments to invest in production, create new jobs, modernize infrastructure, and expand the model range. The document has already been approved by the Ministry of Investments and is undergoing the final stages of approval by the Ministry of Economy." We expect to complete the process and formally sign the agreement in the near future."

Partnerships and Technological Development

Starting in 2026, ADM Global plans to expand CKD assembly of all models at the ADM Jizzakh plant, launch hybrid versions on a single platform, and deepen cooperation with partners from South Korea and China.

At the same time, the company is developing component production and increasing exports.

By 2030, trade turnover is expected to reach $10.7 billion, budget payments to $1.06 billion, and export volume to $220 million.

Signing of an investment agreement and transition to production The introduction of hybrid vehicles is not just a new stage in ADM Global's development, but a crucial step for the entire Uzbek automotive industry.

The project will:

  • accelerate production localization and create new value chains in the country;
  • create thousands of skilled jobs and stimulate the development of related industries;
  • increase the technological level of automotive production by integrating Uzbekistan into the global NEV industry;
  • reduce the carbon footprint and promote the development of an environmentally responsible transportation system;
  • strengthen the country's investment image by demonstrating its readiness for sustainable and innovative growth.

ADM Global is becoming a driver of a new industrial era, in which Uzbekistan is confidently moving beyond the traditional auto assembly format to full participation in the production of the cars of the future.
